U.S. Ready-to-Eat Meal Market Strategy

This week, our strategic work focused on the U.S. ready-to-eat meal market and what changing consumer behavior may mean for All Your Meals.

The broader prepared-food market is substantial, and industry research indicates continued demand for convenient meal solutions. Rather than relying on any single market-size forecast, our focus is on the underlying consumer behavior relevant to our business: people increasingly value convenience, predictable cost and food that requires little or no preparation.

For All Your Meals, we believe that creates an opportunity considerably broader than the traditional meal-prep category.

Consumers have more choices than ever for solving the everyday meal: restaurants, takeout, delivery platforms, grocery prepared foods, frozen meals, meal kits and ready-to-eat meals.

At the same time, restaurant and delivery costs have increased the importance of value in routine meal decisions.

We believe this creates an opportunity for a simple proposition:

Restaurant-style food without the restaurant visit, shopping, cooking or cleanup.

That aligns directly with the All Your Meals model:

Heat. Eat. Done.

Our objective is not simply to take customers from other meal-prep companies. We intend to compete for a much larger occasion: the everyday weekday meal.

Consumer Behavior & Positioning

Our research indicates that younger consumers are increasingly selective about routine restaurant spending, with price and inflation among the factors influencing dining decisions.

We do not interpret this as consumers abandoning restaurant-quality food. Rather, we believe it creates an opportunity for convenient prepared meals that can deliver taste, convenience and predictable value during the working week.

This is an important distinction in how we position All Your Meals.

We are not building the company solely around the traditional concept of "healthy meal prep."

Convenience may earn the first order. Taste has to earn the second.

Our menu strategy will therefore continue emphasizing craveable, restaurant-style meals that happen to be convenient and ready in minutes.

Regional Expansion Strategy

Our research suggests that a number of U.S. regions may offer attractive long-term expansion opportunities based on population growth, household formation and consumer adoption of convenient food options.

Our immediate expansion decisions, however, are being driven by something more practical: where All Your Meals already has operating relationships, production capabilities and market knowledge.

We are initially focused on the Southeast and Northeast, where those advantages already exist.

Our strategy is:

Regional density first. National expansion second.

We intend to:

  • Establish concentrated regional customer bases.
  • Use qualified production partners to reduce unnecessary fixed infrastructure.
  • Build delivery density as customer volume grows.
  • Direct capital primarily toward customer acquisition and growth.
  • Expand into additional markets as individual regional models are validated.

This approach allows us to test, learn and improve market by market rather than attempting to build national infrastructure ahead of customer demand.

Growth Priorities

The next phase of All Your Meals is increasingly focused on sales, customer acquisition and disciplined growth.

Subject to available resources and operating requirements, our principal growth priorities include:

  1. Customer acquisition — digital marketing across channels such as Meta, Google, TikTok and other appropriate platforms.
  2. Sales — commission-based sales resources, corporate accounts and local partnerships.
  3. Brand awareness — short-form video, social media and food-focused creative.
  4. Customer retention — repeat ordering, appropriate promotions, loyalty initiatives and continued menu development.
  5. Technology — improving the mobile-first ordering experience and developing systems capable of supporting recurring purchases and regional expansion.

Our production-partner model is intended to allow a greater portion of growth capital to be directed toward acquiring and retaining customers rather than unnecessarily replicating fixed production infrastructure in every market.

The Weekday Meal

We believe the opportunity for All Your Meals extends beyond competing within the meal-prep category.

We are competing for the weekday meal.

Restaurants, delivery platforms, grocery stores, frozen-food brands, prepared-food providers and meal-kit businesses are all competing for that same consumer occasion.

Our intended proposition is straightforward:

Great food. Conveniently delivered. Ready in minutes. At a predictable value.

Our operating model is equally straightforward:

Acquire customers → Build density → Improve economics → Repeat the model → Expand.

Moving Forward

The research we reviewed this week reinforces our belief that we are pursuing a substantial market opportunity and addressing consumer behaviors that are relevant to the All Your Meals model.

There is still considerable execution ahead of us. Our focus now is on operations, sales, customer acquisition, retention and disciplined regional growth.

The opportunity is increasingly clear. Our focus is execution.
